Owner rules and penalties

• Guests must take proper care of all items. furniture, appliances, and fixtures inside the unit. • Any damage, loss, or destruction of property (including but not limited to furniture, appliances, linens, decorations, walls, doors, or fixtures) will be charged to the guest.₱9,999 per incident
Smoking inside the unit or building is strictly prohibited and subject to penalties. • Any excessive noise, disturbance, or violation of condo rules is not allowed • Plumbing issues caused by improper use (e.g. hair accumulation, clogging) will be charged accordingly.₱9,999 per incident

Payment

Nothing is charged on Renthing. Once the owner accepts, you get each other's contact details and settle it directly — cash, bank transfer or e-wallet. Renthing does not process, hold or guarantee payments, so agree the method with the owner before you meet.

Cancellation

Either side can cancel a request before it is accepted, at no cost. After acceptance, cancel through the booking page and tell the other person — because no money has changed hands on the platform, any refund of a deposit already paid is between the two of you.

Deposit and damage

This owner asks for a ₱1,000 deposit, paid directly to them and returned by them. Renthing never holds it. You are responsible for the item while it is with you. Photograph its condition at handover — both of you confirm the handover in the app, and that record is what you will have to point at if something is disputed.

Rental length and returns

Rentals run up to 90 days. Return the item on the agreed date and confirm the return in the app so the booking closes and both of you can leave a review.
