High-value equipment rental agreement for {{item}} This agreement is between the owner and {{renter}} and is dated {{today}}. 1. Rental period and price. The equipment is rented from {{start}} to {{end}} ({{days}} day/s) for a total of {{total}}. 2. Condition. The equipment is supplied in {{condition}} condition. Both parties should photograph the item, serial number, accessories, and any existing marks at handover. 3. Care and permitted use. The renter will use the equipment only for its intended purpose, keep it secure and dry, and will not lend, sell, alter, or repair it without the owner's written approval. 4. Loss or damage. The renter is responsible for loss, theft, or damage while the equipment is in their care, excluding ordinary wear. Any repair or replacement amount must be supported by reasonable evidence. 5. Return. All included accessories must be returned by the agreed end date. Late return may be charged at the agreed daily rate for each additional day. 6. Direct settlement. Payment and any security deposit are arranged directly by the parties. Renthing does not process, hold, or guarantee payment. 7. Records. The parties may keep the signed agreement, handover records, and submitted verification documents for legitimate transaction, dispute, and safety purposes.
Nothing is charged on Renthing. Once the owner accepts, you get each other's contact details and settle it directly — cash, bank transfer or e-wallet. Renthing does not process, hold or guarantee payments, so agree the method with the owner before you meet.

Either side can cancel a request before it is accepted, at no cost. After acceptance, cancel through the booking page and tell the other person — because no money has changed hands on the platform, any refund of a deposit already paid is between the two of you.
This owner asks for a ₱2,000 deposit, paid directly to them and returned by them. Renthing never holds it. You are responsible for the item while it is with you. Photograph its condition at handover — both of you confirm the handover in the app, and that record is what you will have to point at if something is disputed.
Rentals run up to 90 days. Return the item on the agreed date and confirm the return in the app so the booking closes and both of you can leave a review. This owner requires a signed contract, which you will be asked for before the handover.
